The Council reconsidered their decision and allowed Obi-Wan Kenobi to train young Anakin as a Jedi. Later, Anakin and Obi-Wan were assigned to protect Padme Amidala from assassination attempts.

Anakin traveled with Padme Amidala, the Senator of Naboo. The two of them fell in love but they had to keep their relationship secret as it is forbidden. During that time, he also endured the violent death of his mother. He carried with him a great sense of loss in addition to great anger and became Darth Vader, The Lord of the Sith.
