There are so many movies that we can think about during Christmas time, but which ones are your favorite? I love watching the Griswolds during the holiday season while I am drinking out of my moose glasses. I love the holiday season and look forward to it every year. The cooler weather is literally heaven sent because of the hot summers where I live. This summer was particularly a scorcher, so fall and winter are going to be well deserved this year. I just hope it does not get too cold.

So I am sure your are wondering what my favorite movie is? One of the movies that I have loved ever since I was little is "It's a Wonderful Life". It has been a family tradition at my house for all of my life. That's right, after thanksgiving dinner, we always gather around the television and enjoy the movie.

If you are like most purists out there, you probably don't like the colorized version of this movie. It simply just looks odd and takes away from the classic flavor.

Another one of my favorites is "Miracle on 34th Street". It's an all time classic and my mother simply loves it too. And don't forget about "AChristmas Story". This one comes to mind because my entire family hates this movie. I know, most American families simply love this movie, but me, not so much.

Yep, those are some great classic movies. But what about some of the newer more modern movies? One of the ones that I love is "Elf". Will Ferrell is so funny and he offers hour after hour of a wonderful Christmas comedy. My wife loves this movie, and I hope that you do too.

I talked about that one briefly because my father in law loves that movie so much. Here is a classic movie and story that is absolutely unforgettable. "A Christmas Carol" is a classic that will be loved by families for decades and decades to come. - 39969
