Christmas weddings allow couples to lower their costs and be part of one of the happiest times of the year. Planning a wedding can be one of the most exciting times of ones life. A budget is many times a large factor when planning a wedding; Why not choose Christmas season, to marry the love of your life? It could save you time and money.

While planning a Christmas wedding, I learned several ways to plan a beautiful, yet cost effective wedding. Decorations are one of the biggest budget breakers when planning a wedding, which is one of the reasons having a Christmas wedding can save a lot of money. Most venues for a wedding including churches, family and friends homes, public parks and restaurants are already decorated beautifully forChristmas. Adding additional decor to your venue will probably not be necessary, but there are several creative ideas for using Christmasdecorations of your own to add your own finishing touches.

To help when selecting colors for your beautiful day, in case you have not seen your venue decorated at Christmas time previously, ask your wedding venue to see some of their Christmas decor. If that is not an option, ask if they could tell you the colors they will be using. You would be surprised at those that do not use the typical Christmas color palette. This will help when choosing attire and flower bouquets to be used in the wedding.

To help you save time and money when planning your Christmas wedding, I have several tips I learned while planning one of my own. Churches, family homes, public parks and restaurants are almost all decorated beautifully during Christmas season. However, you may rather the ceremony have some of your decor.

Check to see if you or your friends and family have white lights, wreaths, pillar candles, or fresh Christmas tree cuttings you could use. Wreaths are great for adorning church pews or used as table centerpieces. A wreath, along with a pillar candle in the center, makes a great inexpensive table centerpiece. You could even use fresh tree cutting along with pillar or tea light candles as beautiful table decorations. If you plan to use borrowed un-matching wreaths you could pull the look together with matching ribbons. Your own Christmas ornaments are also a great idea for adding colors and textures to existing Christmas trees or as table decor.

If you would like to incorporate flowers to your venue, a great choice would be Poinsettias. They are in season during Christmas and readily available. Poinsettias are a beautiful red flowered plant, and would be an inexpensive alternative for a fresh splash of color.

If you are having a reception following the wedding, planning the wedding and reception at an hour where etiquette allows avoiding serving guests a full meal, would save big bucks. A great idea would be and early afternoon wedding that would allow for serving Christmas cookies, candies, and cakes along with hot cocoa and hot apple cider, which you could bake yourself or pick up from your local bakery.

Christmas weddings are very beautiful, with the beautiful red and green colors, fresh greenery, beautiful smells, and lighting. Why not have aChristmas wedding, which allows for utilization of beautifully decorated venues and prevent you from spending to much money?

Christmas weddings are a great way to utilize existing decor and be a part of one of the happiest times of the year. By utilizing venues that are already decorated, along with your own personal touches, you can enjoy a beautiful wedding at a fraction of the cost. Christmas lights, ornaments, trees and greenery are great additions to existing d?cor for almost no additional cost. - 39969
